WTD 9 speed r mech, shifter, cassette, shimano pls

Good people of retrobike, i'm only a hanful of components short of finishing a build

I need a 9 speed cassette, 9 speed rear mech and 9 speed shifter, running a single ring up front, anything considered

the SRAM Rocket shifters are 2:1 Shimano compatible unlike most SRAM, our lass has these on one of her bikes (9 speed Shimano) and they work well, if you just need RH and change you're mind I'd buy the LH off you or Charlieboy for my g/friend

Just done a google search....i'm going to run a single chain ring up front and a 9 speed cassette out back, not got the cassette of the shifters yet would this mech work ok ?
