WTD: 5 speed freewheel & rear mech/cage

I'm doing up an 80s Raleigh 20" race bike for my boys and after the following bits:

5 speed Shimano/equivalent freewheel 14-28t (although the one fitted is 14-26t, can't find one at all)
Sachs-Huret rear derailleur, or a set of good cages for it as it appears the one fitted is all over the place. Or a suitable period replacement for non-indexed shifting.

It's by no means a mint bike so don't want anything fancy

I am not 100% sure what you mean by the mech being all over the place but here are a couple of things to try before slashing out on a new mech

1) Try tightening the cage spring move the spring in the red circle to the position in the blue circle.

2) Ensure the nut in the green circle is tight.

These mechs are pretty bombproof so if things are out of alignment just give it a tweak with some pliers until things look straight

The cage is bent (if the boys pedalled backwards it was throwing the chain off the chainring). I've tweaked it and it is better, but the chain rattles against the cage when on the big sprocket. The chainline is spot on.

Good call though, I will take it off and try and true it up first
