Thanks for the offer but am really looing for a shimano to match the front - wheel currently has a 600 hub on it but it is not the screw on type, and the freewheel I have is rattling like a bag of bones so looking to change the hub for a screw on type as I have some NOS freewheels I can use with one.

I found in my drawers:
- a very smooth running older Dura Ace with a Campa-like grease port,
- a Shimano 105 which has been respaced,
- a Suntour Superbe Pro, soooooooooooo smooth.

If interested I'll make some pictures.

600EX is not a freewheel though, it is the Uniglide system with splined hub similar to modern day freehubs.http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx? ... 7&Enum=123

The 600 in a freewheel screw on hub variant dates back to the 1970's. You can get a 105 in a freewheel screw on from the 80's though.
