WTD: 27.5 / 29 fork

I have a plan.

I'm after a bouncy fork that will take a larger wheel. Wheels are 29s but won't be needing huge clearance so a 27.5 fork might do the job

Disc compatible
1+1/8th straight steerer (seems to be pretty rare these days!)
Standard QR ideally, others possible
Black would be nice
Must be in good working and cosmetic condition

Budget is as always a bit stretched so not looking at top spec brand new, but would like something a bit better than the bog basic.

Any offers / recommendations?

Re:

Hay RickTheUncivil don’t suppose you have a 29er fork with tapered steerer and 15mm axle 100-120mm travel. If so I would be happy to swap my Rock Shox xc30’s (+ funds depending on fork)?

My charge can take an 1”1/2 external bottom race which would slacken it out a bit quite nicely.

Thanks

Tim

I have a dual air Reba RL, 29er with straight steerer and standard quick release. in white. I can get you some photos tomorrow if it is of interest.

Sorry old bean, nothing like that to trade. Thats the sort of thing I'm trying to avoid :D

Re:

Some very quick and less than ideal pictures, but I have just finished a night shift and snow is forecast before I get up this afternoon.

I obtained these as an aside and have no immediate use for them. I have not ridden them but am assured they are sound. I intended to service them and then decide what to do after.

Cosmetically have some cable rub on the crown but pretty good otherwise. Complete with the pop lock that allows you to make changes from the bars.

If you want them unserviced I would take £120 delivered in UK.

If you want more/better pictures give me some time to strip them from the frame.

Re:

Tape measure says they are currently set to 100mm, although they can be run between 80 & 120 with the use of spacers. If you wanted to reduce them to 80mm you would need an additional 2x10mm spacers.

Re:

Poplock allows you to change compression on the fly.

Re:

Those rebas are still looking like a fair option, but not quite what I'm looking for. Might just be best option of one though!

If they were black they'd be mine by now. I could respray I suppose...

Any other options out there?
