So...a friend of mine has to commute 11 miles each way to work and back and is currently using a crappy old steel framed thing.
What I want to try and to is put together a reasonably light weight machine for him. I have an old Carrera Vulcan frame and some RS Psylo forks which I could easily set to 85mm and lock out, F&R mechs, headset, stem and bars, but I need basically the rest of the build, inc. discs as frame and forks are disc only.
If anyone has any old parts they would like not much in the way of quid for (or even Karma) that would be epic.
This is a genuine appeal, and not a scam. If it is, you can donate a pair of wee-filled shoes and some bombers!
