So you have the tool to hold the cutter? I might have an extra. I actually have two sets but I am not sure I have all the sizes.....

I don't have anything, but I found a 1 1/4" threadless A-TAC stem that I can use with a different fork. So the threadless option might work out better.
I am going to hold off on going the threaded route until I receive the threadless fork next week. I can easily get a 1 1/4" CK headset also.

Could I borrow your thread die? I've found a pair of forks for my Funk but by the time I've cut down the steerer I'll only have 8mm of thread left!
