That is nice.

Just one thing - the radial spoking on the front with what looks like 32 spokes and a small flange, run on a rigid fork, looks like it could be problematic. Have you checked that the hub is approved for that lacing? I only ask because I had a very similar set up and it caused me a cracked flange - and that's no fun.

I've thought the same too. I know Bontrager and King did a thicker/taller flange to allow radial lacing, but alas, these aren't that model.

I have cracked a newer Thomson X4 stem though running this setup.

All that said, it's been OK thus far.

If you can be bothered I would recommend relacing the front wheel. It'll be more comfortable too. I'm surprised you cracked the face plate on an x4. I've done it with an x2 - you have me worried now... I have x4s on three bikes.

If I do it, it'll be 3x.

It wasn't the faceplate but the underside of the stem where it clamps the steerer tube.

Beautiful WTB!

I recently swapped my bars out for Luv Handles and I am loving them. Gotta work on a rigid fork someday....yours is hot stuff.

Thanks! The Luv handles are great bars.

Next up are some Potts titanium stem spacers to match the stem and frame.
