WTB - drivetrain bits for commute project

Hello one and all!

So I’m looking for some cheap bits for a drive train on a new commuter project I’m working on.

SHIMANO ideally.

1x 9 OR 2x 9 is what I’m going for. Here’s what I need...

Crankset

Chainring(s) 42t max I reckon

Rear derailleur

Cassette

Shifters (thumbies or would be nice)

Anything deore level would be perfect. I don’t need this thing to be too bling.

I have pretty much all you need from a bike that I may be splitting.. It would be as follows:

Pair of Deore LX M570 shifters in VGC (including shifter windows in excellent shape)
Specialized Strongarm 2 chainset (22/32/44 rings)
Deore XT M772 Shadow rear mech (slightly scuffed cosmetically but low mileage and works fine with the above)

There's also a 9 speed cassette (Deore I think) and I can throw in the current chain which is about half worn, plus the BB if needed?

I could do the lot for £60 posted. Give me a shout if you need any pictures

I have some Deore DX thumb shifters. Perches could do with a respect in black paint but good otherwise. PM me if interested.

I also have later 9 speed LX rapid fire shifter, separate brake levers and V’s in a rather nice grey colour if wanted of course.

As it’s a commuter, I do have Shimano 105 road components I’ve just taken from a mountain bike commuter build, chainset with matching 68mm shell hollow tech BB, rear mech, front mech and 9 speed cassette.
