WTB: 1" Rigid Forks for Merlin Mtn 1993

Think they have stopped selling them now its DT Swiss.
Apparently some went on the bay recently for 190 quid :o

Think I am selling my 1in Pace RC30's so they might suit

That build looks absolutely great! Think I'll keep my eyes out for some RC31's then!

Many Thanks

RC31's came in 420mm or 440mm long forks (Dropout to crown race) - a 93 Merlin will have been designed for 395mm forks. Thats not to say they cannot be used just that the geometry will be altered blah blah blah.

Black Ritchey Logic forks would probably be the ideal match.

For something a bit different and superlight how about some Cannondale Pepperonis's?

If your willing to pay big cash new forks I would suggest looking at Vicious or Groovy for steel.

Black-sheep will do Ti I believe - or Skyde perhaps???.

There have been a few posts in the past about 1" fork options.

Orange had a stock of 1" forks a few years ago and may still have some - I seem to remember they were after about £30 for them in any stock colour - probably worth fireing off an email if your tempted.

Ti Groovy's would be awesome if Rody builds them and you have the cash.

Happy reading
