First of all, why would you spend so much on a tatty old frame? Anyone with a basic knowledge of parts and internet access knows it has not cost 3k (unless whoever brazed those bits on absolutely had the sellers eyes out!).

Second, if you were spending decent money, which they have, why not just buy a new bike?

Third, if the only used part is the frame then my name is Nancy!

Forth, why commit so much money before checking it fits? Madness.

Disappointment awaits.

Apart from the frame, all parts are brand new and ridden less than one week so all in immaculate condition.

That, ah, seatpost there sure looks in rather used condition...

I feel they were kinda had spending 200 quid for it to be built up, trying to pass on that cost to some other poor sucker.

I keep looking at this absolute disaster of a build. The Surly forks are too short for the frame, pitching the head tube forward and making it look like it has been front ended. I just imagine it would ride all kinds of wrong.
