Would this work?? As i quit

If you want valuations use the 'how much thread'.

I'd advise selling everything individually and looking for a nicer complete bike.

Seems a bit strong to give up riding becaise of one duff deal. We've all been tucked up on occasion....

I hear what you are saying but the problem i have is if i sell it in bits and some bits take longer to sell then i will be with out a bike to ride for ages.

Forgive my ignorance but why dont you just ride the complete hahanna you allready have?

Good point i just want to get a geared bike again asap, but i could get the build stuff to go first then sell the single speed. Would rather sell as a job lot but doubt that will happen

have you not got the few bit needed to convert the single speed back to gears?

You have a very good point there. Think the thing i will be missing is shifters. Could well do that just would need to sort some cash out for them, not sure what to do.

go for it! at least then you can ride (if summer ever comes) maybe not exactley the bike you want but it will at least have gears.

you can probably find some shifters in the for sale section for a tenner or so.

get out on the bike while its still lightish in the evenings, save a little money, then in a few months time when we are plunged into the eternal darkness build the bike you wanted.

chin up! stick with it. :D
