Would someone care to explain?

These have always been extortionate though, ever since they were released years ago. I *really* wanted one but couldn’t believe the premium over the standard Swallow Ti.

Not being a Brooks fanboy myself, but out of curiosity what is the difference between this and the standard Swallow Ti ?

I can't see a date stamp on the saddle or the certificate, so I don't even know if I'm looking at something retro or modern

Crikey -- I had one of these on my fixie which was nicked . . . bought in about 2010 for much, much less than that. (In fact, the whole bike was).

I believe the newer saddles are pretty poor compared to the older ones.

I have one and love it. No soreness after 260miles.

£15 which for a comfy ride isn't too bad!!

The distinguishing feature’s the rolled over and stitched edges. Lurvely! 😋
You’re meant to get a certificate, but the saddle gets stamped with it’s edition number (240 on this one).

To be fair to Brooks I don’t think they were that much more than the regular version when they were released. But a year or so after selling out they were turning up on eBay for like £400..

So much for my plans of grabbing a cheap second hand one in a few years
