Some people might not want to know who won before watching any TV programme of the race.

Yeah, I saw it live, and the highlights are now on BBC2, but not everybody's watching now or have already seen it.

It was on live on the red button I think, the Formula 1 was the BBCs main commitment today so I doubt many people watched the cycling.

As an Italian it must be surprising that such an event isn't that big, just goes to show what most Brits think of cycling really, most couldn't give a toss that we're world champions at it.

I think we also topped the combined medal table as well which is an even bigger achievement IMO!

England?....No!!!....he is from the Isle of Manx....separate from England and he rides for Great Britain.....Geraint Thomas is Welsh!!!.......How can you not like Cipollini....total showman.
