Wookiee's 1991 Specialized Allez Epic Carbon

Better bring some good tire levers along on your rides should you puncture :)

Those Rubino Pros are OK tires but they don't come with a gumwall. Vittoria corsa evo sc do and ride like a dream but aren't that durable (high performance tires). I doubt yellow tires would compliment this bike.

Re:

Correct , they only seem to be blackwall tyres , but at £31/pair posted at Paul Milnes Cycles they're a bargain if you can live with that .
IIRC Specialized Turbos were always a bugger to get on . Michelin Pros are really grippy even in wet but as a result , they cut easily . And Continentals roll really well , but not reassuring in the wet IMO . But that's just me .

Yeah god help me if I get a puncture!! I'll see how I get on with the Spesh tyres anyone know how they fair in terms of ride/grip/wet? At £20 delivered they were a bargain too!

Re:

Tyres fitted and much more suited cosmetically than the previous red striped ones...now how will they ride? Tomorrow's ride will decide!!
