The ad above says the rears were made by Battle so more than likely

Yup, same rear end as the El Kaboing. It was built by Chumba Wumba.

Interesting that the rear end of your El Kaboing is somewhat different (and nicer). Mine is exactly the same as both Wojciks above. I know my El Kaboing is one of the earliest built, so I'm guessing yours must be later model(?).

I cant remember the frame number on my el k, i sold it on to slimjoe, who repainted it (it was NOS when i sold it to him, but a bit chipped), but I know it was built by Sean Meyer as it began SM (and my other Salsa is an SM number - Ross gave me the name Sean Meyer).

Chumba Wumba built those rear ends for a number of people according to Ross.

Its a damn shame it was an 18" or I definitely would have kept it, figers crossed a 16" comes into my hands at some point!
