I have one from a 2000 Palasades Trail (i think). I could take a photo and you could work out if it's the same one. A listing that I copied and pasted from ebay a while back for the same hanger lists your bike.

Just fetched it in from the shed and took of couple of photos (in bad light). If it turns out to be of any use I'd be happy to do it for a fiver posted.

ive got the same shin as you but the hangers a bit diffrent,it may not be the right one in the first place thats why it snaped?
