Apparently they are bit more relaxed than the Italians about frames, as long as you stick to the down tube levers and no clip ins. Know a few people riding Look KG's post 1984 at it.

Thanks for the comments, as for questions; this would be a top of the line team frame, filet brazed and likely a fair bit lighter than a standard factory built 853. The frameset weighs in at 1410 gr.

you mean "frameset", ie frame & fork or just the frame? If it is frameset, that is light, on a par with a good carbon frame

The weight is for the frame ex forks, which is light even for an 853 - which is what you would expect of a custom built, commissioned frame as opposed to a vanilla off the peg variety.

Like I said the initial cost was c. three times what I'm asking here.

Bump
