win32 generic loader has encountered a problem

its killed me main pc - just get to start up and that 'orrible message comes in. Cant find a solution. Managaed to drag & drop pics into a folder so I can hunt them down later. but cant get more than a minutes use out of it before it restarts.



'edit' its a recycling centre built PC and just removed the odd bits that it didnt need ( sata card, old modem, new DVB card).

it now seems ok and a wee bit quicker on start-up. maybe just in a grump, like me yesterday (but not today).

its looking for a system file thats no longer there or corrupted.my pc used to do this when i used xp.i would do a system re install after wiping the hard drive.some times you can keep existing files but re install the os...should work.

took out loads of chuff I dont need and it works - alot faster too

have you got CCleaner, it removes loads of crap & can also increase speed

ok so it doesn't help with your initial prob, but it's useful & sped my pc up a bit.
