Will these fit

I know its a much discussed topic but one pedal thread on my crank arm is stripped so I wanty to fit a compact crank set as I have leg problems and old age

Bottom bracket is 68mm wide, 137x24 thread (English if I'm right)
with long cage front mech, with friction downtube shifters
Will a Shimano R600 compact fit, or more to the point will a crank with outboard bearings fit.

you would need to replace the bottom bracket with one matching your cranks

but the bottom bracket shell size is the standard size (i think)

its really easy to find outboard, isis, octalink, and square taper in that size

so yeah but not with your current bottom bracket
