Will these bolts fit my Campag crank?

OK, that's a Strada crankset for a double chainring set up. are you going to grind off the inner lip ? maybe double chainring bolts with a spacer might be more appropriate?

I think I'll get my bike shop to sort it Shaun. I've never dealt with putting a crank together so might be the best option. I'm good friends with the shop owner so it shouldn't cost a lot.

Putting the Crank / chainring together is easy....... :) it's just a few bolts.

it's just tricky when you have a road set-up and are trying to make it singlespeed.

I did the same 35 years ago......I ground off the inner lip of the crank arms, got hold of a short axle and bolted the chairing on the outer part of the crank arms with track chainring bolts to keeop the chainline right. That is I turned it into a typical track bike setup.

If the LBS can help then that's a good idea :D

Re:

I have a short offcut of copper pipe of just the right internal diameter, off which I cut spacers of 2-3mm with a junior hacksaw, which make it possible to use double chainwheel bolts with a single ring. No need to grind off the inner lip. But then I guess if you have no double chainwheel bolts to start with, you may as well buy the single chainwheel bolts. AFAIK chainwheel bolts were pretty much interchangeable across brands.
