WIERD MAVERICK......about to end in Glasgow.

The bike itself isn't that odd, just an overpriced later one with a decent spec (for a Maverick).....but whats the deal with that seat post? Just looks like something clamped onto a normal seat post...not suspension as it says in the ad.

I belive it was an early form of suspension post sold aftermarket, I think it provided about 1/2" travel and the plates with the bolts stopped it flopping all over the place...

I've got the same seatpost on the stoker seat on a tandem - owned from new, about 1996/7. So yeah, it's legit!
