Wicked Fat Chance - split or sell as one?

Evening all,

I used to be a member on here some years ago but I can't remember my username and password so I've re-registered. Anyhow I was recomended I put this here.

I have an old Wicked Fat Chance which I'm thinking about selling... Reason being I'm looking to bring in some cash to fund another purchase, a project I have in my head at the moment.
I don't want to sell it but at the same time I know deep down I just don't use it. I have an old Yeti ASX and an On One SS which I ride - one of which will also be going although I haven't decided which yet?
Anyhow, the Fat isn't getting used, I'm getting older and life is passing me by. I would like to raise the cash for the next project before that passes me by too, so needs must.

Whilst it's a shame to sell it, it's also a shame to see it sat in a corner doing nothing. I have to be honest with myself and as much as I loved using it all those years ago I don't and won't use it again. The money will go to something I will use, it will free up some space and someone else can enjoy it the way it should be.

I've posted a pic below. I'll get some more as soon as possible and post up as well if anyone is interested.
I have the original fork for the frame but it's not the 3 piece that everyone seems to want. However, it's what came with the bike so I'll give it away with it.

I also have a lower rise stem for it - that one was to help out my bad back haha!

I also have the problem that I have no idea of it's value? It won't be much, it's not a Yo Eddy, but hopefully worth a couple hundred?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I think it bold down to a few things.

You'll probably make more money splitting it, but on the flip side, more hassle boxing up separate items and trips to the post office or waiting in for a courier.

The wheels, forks and frame are the big ticket items and IMHO worth more than the couple of hundred you mention alone. I'm no expert but wheels worth a few hundred, forks half that. Frame and original forks somewhere around 150-200 at a guess. The rest looks like tidy xt kit and worth a hundred on a good day I reckon.

Try posting in the what's it worth section as I'm sure more expert opinions will be along to help.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I've just seen that you have a what's it worth section - apologies for posting in the wrong place, sorry.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the numbers you mention, that's more than I thought. As I say, it isn't a Yo, but that doesn't mean it's not a great bike. It's the best hardtail I've ever ridden. From this I went to a well known titanium hardtail frame and it lasted only a few months as I was just so disappointed with how it rode, it was pretty poor compared to this.

Thanks

What I should have said was, send me your payment details, I'll begrudgingly pay £200 for it
