Try Kevin Winter in Ferryhill near Durham. He will fit a new tube and sort the paint. Please don't send it to someone who will braze it, Fats of this age should be TiG welded. Half brazed, half TiG looks like a bodge.

Supposedly advantageous. Works well for the other tubes, but perhaps not the best for the seat tubes, especially if the owner isn't diligent about things.

Sealed seat tube/BB connection. Means that if it is ridden in the wet and left that way, there is no where for it go.
