Retro Newbie
I'm selling my Whyte JW2 mountain bike. I moved to Brighton two years ago and got into Stand Up Paddleboarding. I'm just not using the bike enough and think it's time to pass it on to a new owner. I bought it in 2006 and I believe it was made sometime between 2002 and 2004.
It's a real headturner with an unusual design. It's made to allow the rider to keep a steady pace over rough terrain whilst not being jolted.
The bike had a full service just over a year ago at Rayment Cycles, when a new Epicon gas canister was fitted. This was checked over recently by Rule 5 Bikes.
The bike is light and I've used it London as a commuter, and in forests across the South East. It's fast and with the hydraulic brakes, stops in an instant.
You can find the full details about it on Bikepedia.
The frame is 19 inches.
I'm looking for £280 ONO.
Collection from Brighton.
