Why is ebay only showing 25 items?

More annoying is that you can't set UK only as a default, so every search is full of random Chinese tat, with delivery dates a month away.

I spoke to their customer service about this. Apparently it's alll about promoting ebay as a global seller.

Yes, great. Force you to use eBay global shipping program for parcels. They then either take an age to deliver them, or lose them. I'm on the end of the latter (experienced the former many times too).

Oooh, global seller. Aren't they awesome? They are not sellers of any sort, it's us who are the sellers, they are the shady middle men whose rules we have to play by.

Even if there was a filter it would make no difference as thousands of they purveyors of cheap far Eastern tat set up their eBay account with a fake UK address, and as eBay obviously only care about their cut of sales, you can't avoid them even when you use the filter that the item is within miles of your own location.

True, but once I've decided, unless it's a private seller or a bike shop I know, I check the location to make sure it's not a Chinese based drop shipper.
I've found when something goes wrong there's never any reply, and have to wait for Ebay to refund. Life is too short.
I do my best, anyway.
