I've gifted parts that were no good to me and seen them punted post build split up,personally i dont mind, the stuff wasnt of use to me :?
I got a very nice pair of Z3's to help rebuild the ones i had won on ebay[twin mount ,but missing internals and a twisted brace.
The forks remains were gifted out, leaving me a working fork which was sold for a good fair[slightly cheap] price once the build was finished and i was splitting to buy something else
I cant see i was doing any wrong :? the bits went to 2 members so i cant see a problem

If anyone disagrees please say so,i dont want to be under this label

In my personal opinion karma always works in one way or another.
I saw your karma thread and even i didn't took part in the competition i thought to myself: What a great idea and what a great retrobike hero you are.
Things like that make this website forum the special place that it is and set it apart from hundreds of nameless websites where such a warmth atmosphere never seems to take over.
You see even if your karma stuff gets sold for money and you could not reach this one guy with your surpreme spirit you surely touched lots of other chaps that will contribute something to this forum in some way.

Karma always works.

everything i've had karma'd to me has been used , infact i think i'll give some karma back tomorrow 8)

You reap what you sow as someone old once said. When the day comes you will be judged on your behaviour in life. Cause and effect.

Using something karma'd to make good an item is a good thing imo in the hierarchy of reduce, reuse, recycle which after all is a by-product of this site. Just peddling on is a bad thing and not in the spirit of what this site is about.

What that really means is that we know who he is now and he's not here any more, just like Konamad/Ringlemike/Hughesdavo (what happened to him; did he ever sell that Hot in the end? I think about 5 people must have bought it ).

@dyna-ti - don't think anyone is suggesting you are doing anything wrong.

The seller of this item which was karma'd to him on retrobike now has a lifetime ban from the site anyhow.

Selling items which were given to you as karma (i.e. for nothing) shows not only a disregard for the concept of karma but also a disrespect for the community as a whole.

Users have been banned for similar in the past (as cornholio's RC-200 mentions) and we will act accordingly in the future if similar occurs. If people do feel this is occuring please drop me a PM and we can discuss further. It it not my understanding that it is.

Think this discussion has run it's course and as such will lock this. Back to the old bikes 8)
