Its happened to me a few times...

Me too, I've seen a couple of Karma items I've given away for sale on here.

The thing that annoyed me id the people that took the items never used them, just stuck them in a cupboard for a few months then sold them on.

I have only ever taken karma items I intend to use, not make money on.

To be honest I have given away so much gear to people I can't afford to get upset if they pass it on. However I have put together tool kits for people and given them basic advice on using them, only to see their bikes in the shop after I have been 'unavailable'. In a couple of cases I have passed the tools on to more deserving homes. This is over many years though. Generally I give expecting to feel good not to feel owed. :)

For all that this was out of line in my mind.

Mixed bag ... On one side you are giving something away that you no longer want whatever the reason so once it's gone it's gone

However I'm a bit old skool and feel if I karma something out in here...then if that chap no longer wants it then courtesy should dictate they ask me first do I want it back before they pass it on

Being banned I guess that option didn't apply anymore..Implying he was unable to ask in the first place even if he wanted too
