Why I want a V8

The only V8 I have had is a 3500 S P6.....more of a gentlemans carriage I guess, but I liked it

Oh yeah 8) my dad had one when I were young....I knew he was home 'cos the lampshades in the house used to vibrate as he pulled in the garage

I was mortified when he got a SD1 2600......just didn't sound the same

Reminds me, I must resurrect my 827.

I know what chaps...

Tomorrow morning, lets all go drill holes in the silencers on our cars, for that V8 sound...

you lot are gonna get a smack...

Will get a good kicking then if I tell you that my next racecar has a 400bhp Chevrolet V8 just behind my shoulder?

Currently afflicted with V8 Discovery

Have seen somewhere an adaption kit for fitting Rover V8 into VW Camper - but I really mustn't consider that any more. No really...

reminds me of a race a few years ago at cadwell where a trans am got a bit loose in a corner and sent a porsche skidding into the dirt . it was amusing that such a large car bullied its way around such a tight track

theres a mk1 granny local that has a rover v8 of the tvr flavour on straight pipes . he turned up at the pub with slicks on the rear too , not exactly inconspicuous for a daily driver
