5 Rover SD1

3 Mercedes 500/560 SEL/ SEC

1 Discovery

1 Range Rover pick-up

just been watching 'Gumball Rally' the original and the best 'race across america movie'.

I want a V8


but I only have 8p....

I want a v8 too! My mate is building a mk 3 cortina and wants yank v8 power. I have another friend who is a mechanic for a team campaigning ex nascar cars. He tells me you can buy a full running nascar for about 8 grand to the uk. 2 grand more would put it on the road

In 1979 a bunch of NASCAR guys decided to enter a NASCAR spec Dodge Charger in the 24hr Du Mans in the IMSA class. It was a barge, straight from the ovals and looked out of place. This thing would not go round corners, had the aerodynamics of a brick.

Well, its back! :twisted: and its sounding as good as ever! Watch with amazement as it wobbles around corners and then eats 930 Turbo Porsches on Les hundiares

I've a mate who built his Cobra with a Nascar V8! Its bonkers! My other mate has a SD1. I'm due out at Cadwell soon in another friends 550+ Saph cossie (Not a V8 but truely bonkers), full slicks and has a toilet roll holder on the roll cage! Parp! The noise from the Cobra is amazing!

Had a few Muscle cars in the past a 70 Mach1 Mustang, a 68 Charger, best sounding V8 car i had was actually a 1980 5.0 Mustang (carb not injection), had headers going into 2.5" straight pipes with small silencers and pre axle dumps, that thing would wake the dead
