Why didn't this sell?

I was very tempted by this bike and still wondering wether to go for it! Please could you give me a few reasons why it didn't sell? Is it over priced?

So the bike is 'Mint' except for the repair on the rear stays, the new rims, the scratches and chips, the different saddle, the missing pedals, the swapped out tyres the replacement grips....

at half/third this price it may be worth a look but never at that price.

Sorry I am a newbie and I'm after a nice old carbon trek but I don't want to get ripped off.

I keep looking. That bear valley was nice! But I'd like something special.
