you remember when pulps jarvis stirred up michael jackson.....that was entertainment

That was one of the greatest moments in history.

Thanks for reminding me.

If he had actually taken a spoon and stirred up him literally it would have been better, but forget my kinks.

:)

Don't mind 'Clocks' . . nice little ditty.... but some folk appear to hate them and never really got why :?

Dude,

He is doing Paltrow, is there any other reason to hate him?????

:)

I had no knowledge of that prior to this thread... wasn't she the bint that blubbed an award acceptance speech?

Personally, struggle to see much beyond/since The Clash and other (although slightly lesser) bands of their day. Not heard much with that sort of energy and passion since. Odd exception such as Foo Fighters. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, then Stone Roses, Happy Mondays etc.
Did go to see ColdPlay a few years back to keep the missus happy. I remember a guy in the loos raving about them and saying to me really enthusiastically " It doesn't get much better than this, does it?" (He was talking about the gig!). He looked really shocked and slightly offended when I said "They're OK, but they're not exactly Stiff Little Fingers, are they?" It just wasn't the same!

Maybe I'm just an old fart?!

Like with James Blunt - it became trendy to hate certain musicians / acts.

Truth be told, neither helped themselves - but all the same it was a case of no bandwagon too slow.

Not a great fan of Blunt's music, but the man himself comes across as quite a sound bloke with a good sense of humour when he pops up on chat shows, Buzzcocks, etc.
