i like both types of music,rock and punk.

however coldplay dont fit in either so as far as im concerned do not excist lol

Honestly, though, he does ok on stuff like Buzzcocks (riding Jupitus and slapping his behemoth arse was a golden moment )

And his 'iffy' interview on 'Something for the Weekend' was pretty funny too..

Coldplay just too mainstream for a lot of folk really. For me they're just not hard hitting enough and if I want music to chill out to etc. I'll just listen to Floyd.

Agreed, early stuff not bad at all really. Kind of lost interest post-X&Y though. Plus I'll swear that the intro to In My Place is nicked off the far superior Dreams Burn Down by Ride....
