Who wants a LTD edition RC100....

i think there would be a market for a reissue,
but i think people who want an rc100 would always want the original.
i will be one of the lucky one's to have a near original example of this
iconic bike. get my frame back next week. just need the wheels building.
and those elusive magura mounts.

I'd say no, the idea of a re-issue or re-imagining is just an excuse to trawl up an old name for the sake of cashing in. It's a bit like the 1990 're-imagined' Tomac bike from a year or so ago, just a bit weak:

Agree with you Pete...I don't think a modern RC100 would work...not enough interest and as videojetman said, I think people would rather go for an original Pace...

Still in concept it would be intersting to see how a modern one would be kitted out...mmmm, titanium square tubed goodness...

Interesting topic. In other retro worlds, like radio control cars people like tamiya, the big players from the day have gone crazy with re issues and special editions. That retro scene is made up of oeoe exactly like here, same age etc and runs similar to here with rc cars. Tamiya are making a fortune with re issues of all their classics from the 1990s. I'm very surprised its not been big in our world, although it seems the majority of companies from the 1990s are gone now, and some just survive in name alone.

I'll ask Lynskey!

I think molded carbon fiber squire tubes, carbon version of the RC100, Stealth Pace with modern XTR and there carbon fork range DT forks as well :D Special carbon Pace stem and bars to go with the bike combo 8) can i have some Easton carbon wheels to go with please

Have you seen this front end on this look, talking about Pace stems what about a new modified Pace carbon steer stem with built in bars as a concept 8)

I had a vision over a year ago and it looked to good to put into words 8)

Also added this but carbon over titanium the other way round so the titanium sheeted tubes only really there for strength under the carbon and shows through for the decals badges etc :D

Would have been a cool bike without the C26 references. Don't think Tomac made much profit on those
