Who nabbed this poorly listed King K...nice build too

With the additional photos that were provided, I'm fairly confident that it's a size 16 frame. That does reduce its value somewhat, and may even prove unacceptable to the successful bidder I suppose.

Unfortunately, speaking txt isn't uncommon nowadays, and certainly doesn't mark the person out as dishonest. I would have thought that if the bike was stolen, the seller wouldn't have added so many pictures, as that would surely just be the best way of enabling the rightful owner to identify it as his bike.

For all the decent-quality kit on the bike, £723 seems if anything a slightly high price to me, for a size 16 bike that has to be collected from Chester le Street.

While I'm not suggesting the bike is stolen, there's clearly something up. If it was an "off the shelf" bike that could be bought straight from a bike shop I'd say fair enough if they had rich parents, but this bike will have been built up, which therefore takes a degree of research and enthusiasm. Even if you go into a bike shop and say "build me the best bike you can", they'll still need a certain level of input from the customer. This is my main concern, which is obviously all moot if the ebay seller bought it off the builder who desperately needed money and hadn't heard of Ebay, Retrobike or many bike forums themselves. Although the spelling doesn't help and it's not even text speak which tends to shorten words as the seller's added letters to a variety of words.
