Who made or makes 1" Titanium Stems?

Could you not just use a 1 1/8" stem and shim it down to 1" size? There's a lot more Ti stems in 1 1/8" than 1" as you've found out.

I think he's trying to say you can't shim a 1-1/8" quill stem down to 1".. :?

I had a unbranded 1" Ti quill stem that got sold which I believe was off a Marin. Nothing special but it was Ti and it was 1" quill.

I also saw a rare Race Face Ti quill stem on ebay once. Can't remember if it was 1" or 1-1/8". It was expensive though.

If I go the threadless route that's a good idea. Sometimes I get lost in the forest bumping into tress and fail to see the obvious. I think I'll have much more luck if I go with a 1" threadless fork and then I have the option to run a 1" threadless Ti stem or shim a 1 1/8" one down to the 1" steerer.

Have you forgotten my RF Ti stem on my Merlin? It's a 1-1/8" ahead shimmed down to fit the 1" steerer on my Bonty.

it is the mentioned cinelli grammo, they are not cheap, but i love it.had one on my road bike back in the day .will have the camera out later it will get a pic for you
