who does not have a TV?

Moved into a new house just over a year ago now which had no aerial
Didn't bother getting it replaced as it was summer and was busy with a 24 boxset. Still not got an aerial and not missing the telly.Boxsets and iplayer/fourondemand keep me going.

Besides, l spend way too much time on here and ebay to bother with the TV :)

I personally can cope without it, but I would miss a bit of motorsport at the weekends.

We recently had our lounge carpet and 3 peice suite cleaned which meant an evening where the lounge was out of bounds whilst everything dried.

Kids actually had to do stuff that meant moving!

Ive not had a TV for about 5 years instead I got a young
girlfriend and in the evening we discus world events and
read books and listen to music whiles enjoying a glass
of wine, very civilised

now that sounds like a good plan!

would i still need a license just to watch DVDs? if i was to have no aerial or anything else hooked up to the set?

No - despite what the TV Licensing crooks will often say you only need a license to receive TV broadcasts over the air. If you have no aerial hooked up and can't see (or record) TV broadcasts then you're fine...

She doesn't have to young
If concerned about the TV people. When you buy any thing like that just give a false address/post code then they wont be able to find you.
In the past i always gave an ex-girlfriends address.
Never had any problem.
