who do you use for FRAME ALTERATIONS ie disc tab fitting

as title really as when i get home my orange prestiage will be there waiting for me and this was something i was thinking about before i sold her i want too

1. replace the headtube with a 11/8th as its 1" at mo

2. have a disc tab and brace fitted

3. 3x hose guides under the top tube and 2x hose guides on the seat stay

who is best for price and best for quality for this kind of work i just emailed atlatic boulavarde but who else is worth there salt :?: :? :?

how much was that to get done mark as i noticed prices seem a little silly at argos for some things were other frame repairers are half the price :?

IIRC it was:

£50 for the tab & £10 for the brace (this was optional though)

£8 a pop for the disc cable guides and £16 for removing the canti tabs.

Again IIRC I did manage to haggle with Mark at Argos a little.

Maybe expensive but I was made up with the work.

its not that is the little finishing things the people iv'e spoken too have been moaning about but suburbanreuben is the 9th person iv'e heard resently to say something negative one guy said he had to send his road bike frame back as 2 welds were not done round the bb area :shock: another his left side drop out wasn't inline its little things but more people seem to be coming forward they always used to renound for perfection in there work hence the who's used who thread and what did they charge as it seems there are new faces and others that have gone and i need my frame doing right first time :shock:
