how do you find the eccentric rear hub in use? has it eliminated the use for a seperate chain tensioner?

how do you find the eccentric rear hub in use? has it eliminated the use for a seperate chain tensioner?

I've only used for commuting but there is no need for a tensioner.

The whole idea of the eccentric means you can take up the slack in the chain by repositioning the hub.
