Didn't they do a licencing deal with Marin to furnish their stock bikes? Therefore I deduce that these are off a showroom Marin rather than boutique after market stuff - as you say, I don't think they made a brakeset for after market.

Looks indeed like the Marin brakes. And those Marins had WI cranks and front hubs.
