Just a hopefull thread to see if anyones seen my white circa 94 Cindercone. It was resprayed in white with circa 97' Munimula decals in silver and black. 17inch frame with black cable clamp for rear V Brake.
Spec:
SOME OF THE BELOW DETAILS UPDATED
-Black Mavic rims on black Hope sus (front) ti-glide (rear) hubs, black Sapim spokes with red ali nipples (The rims have 'sapim' stickers on them).
-Black Manitou six deluxe forks with boots removed.
-USE sus seatpost with custom red and blue clamp.
-Black Salsa seat clamp
-Black Titec stem.
-Black easton style riser bars. (3TT I think)
-Original Red DX V-brake levers, Red DX V-cantis on front, Black Avid cantis on rear. (I think they were called SD3)
-Red GT grips and Red/Black WTB rocket v saddle.
-XT mechs and Deore shifters.
-FSA v-drive cranks with black chainrings and silver ali bolts. Blue Ritchey SDP's
-It had odd tyres, cant remember what make. (I think rear was a michelin)
The most distinctive thing was a small dent on the toptube roughly in the middle of 'Munimula'decal. The frame also has a 'USE' sticker on the seat tube, also a 'Salsa' sticker which covers a hole where on of the bottle boss's came out of the seat tube.
The bike was stolen at Sainsburys in East Grinstead, Sussex roughly 2 years ago in the autumn I think. It could probably be identified by the red paint inside the head tube. Unfortunately when I had it shot blasted the frame number came off but this could help to prove the bike is mine if it happens to be found.
I owned this bike for several years and as can be seen from the spec it had alot of money spent on it. I had planned to fit a Black Thompson stem, Monkeylite carbon bars, Avid front disk brake and XT shifters. It would probably bring me to tears (of joy) if I could somehow get it back.
