Which one shall I hack? Retro MTB Selection

Bristol

Dirt Disciple
Right, I recently set out to find an early 90s steelie MTB which I planned on SSing with some slicks for general urban commuting and pub/night club riding. My riding style is just not suiting the 700c old school racing bikes I've been hacking about on recently.

I just needed something basic, cheap, low maintenance and has the ability to withstand on onslaught of abuse.

So after replying to an ad in the local paper, I went to view a Marin for £30, unfortunately it just wasn't worth it in my eyes. However, I got talking to a friend of the gent who was selling the Marin, then went around his place to buy one bike and came home with this lot:

Needless to say, the missus was horrified but I was ecstatic!

But now, I need the forums help. Being a noob to retro MTB world I'm not really sure what's what and I need you lot to help me pick the most worthless two bikes of this lot. I really don't want to be hacking about on any of these bikes if they hold any value or significance to anyone in any shape or form. I don't mind building up the frames either, I've got a decent selection of parts that came with the stuff so that's definitely an option as well.

I need one for myself and I have promised one for my friend, he's not fussy either. The rest I plan to get rid of as and when I have the time to.

So whatcha' reckon?

Any would build in to a decent retro hack imo. At a guess I'd say the e-stay and the last one would be of most interest to the retro gang.

Holy sh*t. Good haul.

Pub hack - manky Giant at the top.

The Fisher RS1 (blue susser) is pretty rare, and it's got the brake on it which is handy. Also the CR7 (grey one with bolt-on back end) is a bona fide classic, and the Montare (red estay) will find fans too. Early 80s Stumpy, good score. Not sure what the red lugged frame is but I like it :)

i'll have the red e-stay if your selling

Don't want to discuss sales in the wrong section, don't want to get in trouble on this forum again. I like this place too much! Haha

I guess anyone who's interested can PM me, but sorry if this goes against forum rules. If it does, then let me know and I can delete the content in this thread :)

If people can let me know how much roughly each bike is worth that'd be great, will help me decide what to keep (my friend is definitely getting the Giant but not 100% sure what I want to keep just yet) but again if this goes against forum policy then PLEASE let me know and I can delete the thread content.

Would happily swap/PX bikes for parts for my Salsa, check the thread here:

Thanks again for all of your help and please let me know if I'm breaking any rules :)
