The bit you missed is "run a full housing along the top tube". The hose guides don't see any braking force - they just stop the cable outer flapping around. Not super elegant, but simple and light, reduces the number of entry points for grunge in the cable run, and works just fine on my own Kilauea.ernestrome":gnhej90g said:I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work jim.
