Which cassette & chain to use with my bitza combo.

Hi there first of all I plan on running my SRAM ESP 9.0SL woody with an xt thumb shifter on friction Im assuming that should work ok? My second question is what cassette and chain should I use its a shim deore hub by the way, thanks alot guys.

Frankly you can run any cassette you like with a friction arrangement. However, your SRAM mech is a 1:1 type and I'm not sure the Shimano thumbie will be able to pull enough cable for it to sweep the entire gear range.

Yerh as I've been thinking about it the only conpatabilty issue is between the shifter and the mech I'm not a fan of rapid fire on retrobikes so with that mech I suppose I'm pretty limited on shifter choices.
