Where is everyone?

Went for a ride this morning started at 10.00am finished at 12.30pm total blue sky and temp about 25'C rode for 18 miles 100% offroad did not see another soul till the last 2 miles then they only ramblers carrying rucksacks full of ham sandwiches and flasks. My point is am I the only person who rides during the week? Sundays you have to go like early (7.00am) to miss the bike jams on the trails. I not compaining that I have the whole of the Southdowns to myself but I feel a bit selfish hogging it all. Then again maybe I'm the only mountain bike rider to get time off during the week! The rest of you are busy earning the money to buy yet more retro bike stuff. So I have made a decision I will try not to ride at weekends so theres more room on the trails for everyone else. I did say try not promise so don't hold it against me if I am spotted out at weekends.

We're sitting indoors waiting for parts to get 2 bikes up and on the run so we can get out...

Will be mostly midweek... weekends will consist of little jolly's down to the beach with the kids and not much else bike-wise I should think.. until the tourist season hits full tilt and then I'll be nowhere near the blimming beaches 'til Autumn.

I was out in that area on saturday morning, didn't see any one, mind you i woke up at 5am and was out the door by 5.30, just me and the wild life.

Over Duncton/ Cocking way?

Today Whiteways,Bignor, Duncton,East Dean, Eartham,Sindon.

Passed quite a few bikers yesterday around Bignor 9.00am ish, could have been you. Spoke to some feller on a 98 explosive at the top of Bignor Reynolds tube set, could of been you?

Out again with me Mate Neil on his new Lapierre X-Control 310 this afternoon, just us no other MTBer's. His new bike is nice and he was able to keep up a bit better today or it could have been because I feel shit cause my young grandson has given me his cold and I am coughing like I am 100 a day smoker!!!! and I have a snotty dose.
