Where is a 1990 Marin Catalogue??

A few members certainly have a copy but it doesn't look like it's made it to the archive? Not sure the Titanium features in the UK version though?

I’m no Marin knower, but do wonder if the 1990 Team Titanium ever had a cataogue build? It was Litespeed built no? And not cheap; if you were buying one in 1990 would you insist on a vanilla Shimano XT/ Araya build, or say to the distributor who only had a few frames “this is my dream bike, let’s go nuts!”

Which prompts the question, do you want the catalogue ‘spec’ to check a potential purchase, or to reproduce a catalogue build?

If the former, then there are probably better ways to check that the frame/ a prospective purchase is what it seems
Viz: 1990 Team TI.

If the latter, then I’d suggest going with what you want. Eg A litespeed frame and fork must be desirable, though something with a steel fork might be more useable. Add period boutique parts to taste, or XT and Araya to be a Steve McQueen “This old thing? Just a tool to do job” hero.

I have the frame, but want to make it appear period correct, or not too far off. To cheapen the cost a bit am looking for a plain black fork/stem combination, and will put XT throughout
