i have for sale 2 sets that are not actually sets.
All prices include postage inside the UK.

first up, STX MC32 front & STX RC MC38 rear, both running on Mavic 238 rims (sticker missing from front rim) rims are in excellent condition, bearings and freewheel run smooth. little bit grubby. 9spd compatible.

next up, LX M564 front & LX M565 rear, both running on Mavic 221 rims. bearings and freewheel run smooth, rims are far from perfect rear is better than the front, the front has a nasty groove on 1 side. front would be ok for a pub/hack bike.

What caused it? Grit on a brake pad?


Can I call dibs on the 221/LX pair until I check this out.

gimme 5 mins i'll go and take a couple of shots.
no idea what caused it, but the brakes were setup so badly on the bike they were taken from.

as i say good for a pub/hack, the rear is in pretty good condition though.

Oh hang on a minute, I'm getting ahead of myself here.
Do the Lx hubs take an 8spd cassette? Little alarm bell in my head thinks not.
