nope wont fit, it seem the zaskar takes a 38mm seat clamp, hope do a 38.5 but i might stick with the original, and go with a black stem,

doesnt seem right putting english bits on the zaskar either

okey cokey we have a dealio, as long as the mech is lovely jubbly, blue crimps please though may end up going with gold spacers or red, as the headset is blue, but then might opt for for black or silver headset, forks are red, stem might be red or black, hmmmm, decisions decisions, getting a bit worried i might be overdoing the blue and red thang, you could always chuck in some gold crimps too

hmmm, not yet, all depends on how much steerer i need to cover and if im gonna incorporate gold or not, headset is blue, forks are red, stem may be blue or red or black, and how much spacer i need is gonna be dependent on stem,
its all so hard Al to decide

has Pete spoke to you yet about a lap of the chase at some point in the not too distant future?

ooh, been po today, will pop it in post tomoz for ya though,

nothing definite re the chase yet, just that I'm allowed to ride modern on account of my dodgy knee and you two have to have vintage rigids with no more than 15 gears, and sometime around the 20th July is all i know, so hopefully sunny.

keep hold of them spacers for me, do ytou have any mech shims knocking about too, i know i have one half of one at least

ok coolio cheers! think you have me addy reet? I'm flogging a load of blue stuff inc spacers(expect a thread shortly!) but I'm setting 30mm worth of BNIB blue Hope spacers aside for you... I have another 10mm but it's from a different set and looks paler than the new ones rather annoyingly :x

what's with the knee? I only had an arthroscopy 8 weeks ago you know - I can't run again! I dislocated my patella in December

went to the drs a good few years back and he told me it was wear and tear, gave anti inflammetries but said it will only mask symptoms and was most likely from cycling, both knees have always been clicky, tendons snapping back into place thing i always thought, then started to get stiff slight pain in the cold weather in both knees more so in right,
now its summer left knee is fine, though will become aware of it after a big ride, the right knee, more clicky than ever, and still painful, more so when pushing up from a squat position, its stragne but it actually feels better after a bike ride, but then next day or two will be more painful, its never gone on me, but i feel in my mind that it will if you know what i mean, it doesnt swell either, i sort of nurse that knee a bit when i ride know rather than using the right leg to push over like i once did, age i guess, 36 and arthritus, is the arthroscopy any good then,

ditto m8 - I'm also 36 and can't push that hard now. Hurts most when I just stand around at work, cycling's ok, running is a no-no tho!
