I am trying to find a simple tool that will draw a representation of the wheel for wheel lacing patterns
with input fields such as number of spokes on the right side, on the left side , spoke patterns and a graph will be issued according to these inputs

I am not looking for a spoke length calculator
but there may be one that has such a feature

I suspect ther should be a "nerd" somewhere that has done that

there is Parktool excel based sheet that is for spoke tension calculation that shows a very simple graph but the two sides of the wheel are distinct and I wish something with the whole wheel graph and possibly more sophisticated visually

I wonder if anyone has already seen that and where can I find it ? as I have been looking for it thanks to google but not to avail :(

There is/was a website with such a web based program on it.

Just cannot remember where. It was a site all about the patterns.

I'm sure a search would bring it up

This is one of the ones I was thinking of but not the one for odd patterns

many thanks 8)
close for what I was looking for
but installation does not go through properly so icons are not created ok and you ve got to delve into the programm directory to start the prog
and the help does not work
unfortunately after closer scrutiny , the spoke number cannot be entered by side - so my simulation for a vintage roval rear hub which has an uneven number of spokes for each side (16 and 8) is flawed :?
but its close to target
