I'm looking at building up an old Panasonic and I'm looking at wheel choices. Browsing on here there seems to be a number of bikes with black rims using rim brakes.
I'm undecided whether I'm going to go with raw silver, black or somewhere in between, but I do like the look and after a few hours searching Google I'm not finding any new black rim brake compatible rims out there!
I understand that a coated rim won't retain its finish forever as it's a wearing part, but the plan for the bike is as a gentle pootle machine with my young boys.
I know I also have the option of scouring the classified ads for some ceramic wheels and I may well do that, but can anyone point me in the right direction for new darker rim options?
