I use this type, there are lots of similar ones, some a lot dearer depending on name stamped on them, i found some for around £15 and bought a few.

what are they like for moving/dragging across the floor with bike still attached to them?

Not that great, stand is designed to be stable/secure so easier to just lift bike out and reposition stand by hand.

What floor/rack stands do people use?
I was looking at something like this but would need around 10 of them...

or this

Problem with these is when you have fat tyres, they wont go in without letting out some air, if you have thin tyres (ie road), the bike leans over and can be on an unstable angle. they also can damage derailleurs if you dont drop the gears down

I use the ones suggested by MK one as they are stable and wont damage wheel, spokes or derailleurs........ they also look professional

Yes, they do look good. However I need to be able to drag the bikes around a bit whilst in the stands, for example, if all 10 bikes are lined up diagonally in a row and I need to shift some out the way to get one out of the middle.
